# Show up on Google Maps when people nearby search for what you sell

People nearby who search for what you sell can find you on Google Maps, with the right hours, phone and photos. Perpetuallie claims and verifies your Google Business Profile, picks the right category, fills in every detail, and keeps it the same as your website and other listings.

How we do it: we claim, verify and complete your Google Business Profile, and match it to your website and other listings.

**How to buy this:** The audits are free. If you want us to do the work, we agree the scope and price on the call. [Get your free audit](/book).

## What you get

- A profile you own and control, claimed and verified under your business.
- The right categories, so Google shows you for what you actually do.
- Name, address or service area, phone, hours and website that match your site exactly.
- Your services, a clear description, photos and regular posts.
- The same details on other listings such as Apple Maps and Bing Places.

## How it works

1. We check whether a profile exists and who controls it.
2. We claim, verify and complete it.
3. We fix mismatched details on your other listings.

## Who it is for

Businesses that meet customers at an address or in a service area. Signs you need it:

- You don't show on Google Maps when people search near you.
- You can't log in to your profile, or someone who left still controls it.
- Customers call at the wrong hours, or go to the wrong address.

## Questions

### Do I need a physical location to be on Google Maps?

You need a real address or a set service area where you meet customers in person. Businesses that only work online usually cannot have a Google Business Profile. If you go to your customers, you can hide your address and show a service area instead. We will tell you on the call if this applies to you.

### How do I show up in the top three on Google Maps?

Google says local results are based mainly on "relevance, distance, and prominence." Relevance means your profile matches the search. Distance is how far you are from the person searching. Prominence is how well known you are, and reviews are part of it. You cannot change distance, but a complete Google Business Profile and steady reviews help with the other two.

### Who owns the profile?

You do. We set up your Google Business Profile under your own business and your own Google account. We ask for manager access so we can make changes, and you can remove it at any time. If someone who left your company controls your profile today, we help you get it back through Google.
